| The 12 Steps to Benchism (1-6) |
| |
| 1 |
We admitted we have an interest in benches - that
our Benchism was burgeoning.
|
|
| 2 |
Came to believe that a Power greater than ourselves
was leading us into Benchism. |
|
| 3 |
Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over
to the care of the Supreme Benchmaker as
we understood Him. |
|
| 4 |
Made a searching and fearless inventory of our cameras,
lenses and accessories. |
|
| 5 |
Admitted to the Supreme Benchmaker, to ourselves, and
to another human being the exact nature of our Benchist
tendencies. |
|
| 6 |
Were entirely ready to have the Supreme Benchmaker
instill within us the desire to find and record benches
where ever they may be. |
| |
|

|
|
| |
| The 12 Steps to Benchism (7-12) |
| |
| 7 |
Humbly asked the Supreme Benchmaker to guide our Benchism. |
|
| 8 |
Made a list of all persons we knew who possessed a
bench, and became willing to approach them all. |
|
| 9 |
Made direct contact with such people wherever possible,
except when to do so would invade their privacy or right
to enjoy their bench unhindered. |
|
| 10 |
Continued to take personal inventory of our bench images
and share them. |
|
| 11 |
Sought, through Internet sources, maps, etc., to improve
our consciousness, regarding benches, seeking knowledge
of their whereabouts and recording them. |
|
| 12 |
Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these
steps, we tried to carry this message to Benchists, and
to practice these principles in all our affairs. |
