Now, does that mean that when we're on the forums, we're not allowed to fart, or does it mean that we may not fart on the forums (as in, "I fart in the general direction of your forum; your father was a hamster, etc.") ?  It could be a critical distinction, I feel.

Good point.

It actually refers to the latter. Unlike another place we're reasonably confident about the robust nature of our software (and server), however we don't want to tempt fate. Fumes (noxious or otherwise) may prove detrimental to the wellbeing of the forum.

As such, we also operate a no-smoking, no-fish and no-curry policy on the forum, unless seated on a bench. Monacled Topper
